Zahrah Fakim featured in BeYourOwn

Associate Zahrah Fakim has been featured on the global BeYourOwn business networking platform, with an article discussing how to resign as a director of a limited company.

Zahrah outlines the steps directors must take to ensure their resignation is successfully completed, which include letting the other directors know, a letter of resignation, checking legal documents, and notifying Companies House.

There could be consequences for not following these steps correctly - Zahrah explains that sole directors need to appoint a new director before stepping down, or the business risks being struck from the Companies House register.

“Although there is more to the resignation of a director than a letter of resignation, it is still a vital step in the process,” says Zahrah.
