Expansion continues at Spector Constant & Williams with new family practice launch

Growth continues for London law firm Spector Constant & Williams with the launch of a new family practice, which will be headed up by new Partner Nick Gova.

Nick's arrival this week will see him spearhead the firm's foray into family law and follows on the heels of its insolvency practice, which was launched earlier this year.

Joining the firm this week, Nick will bring with him experience of handling complex financial matters in divorce, including international elements, businesses, pensions, tax and liquidity issues. Nick is regularly instructed in prepared pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements as well as cohabitation agreements. Nick habitually deals with issues pertaining to child arrangements and relocation. Nick is well versed in obtaining financial provision for unmarried individuals where there are children.

Nick has experience in matters involving religious marriage and divorce, specifically, Hindu, Islamic and Jewish divorce. He is also the architect of the 'Pup Nup'®, designed to safeguard the future of pets in a divorce.

Alun Williams, Partner at Spector Constant & Williams, said: "We are always alert to how we can best meet the needs of our clients and look ahead of the curve to see where there is scope to represent a wider pool of clients. With that in mind, it was obvious that there's a need for us in the family law space. Nick's arrival marks an exciting time for us. We are growing and looking at how we can support clients across all of their needs. Nick will be a major asset to the firm and we welcome him to the Spector Constant & Williams family."

Nick said: "I am delighted to be joining Spector Constant & Williams, a firm that is entrepreneurial, ambitious and forward thinking in its approach. The firm has gone from strength to strength since its inception. The introduction of a family law offering team demonstrates the firm’s commitment to clients and being the go-to full-service firm. I look forward to working with the high calibre lawyers at the firm, helping to shape its future."
