Dispute Resolution
Aurelia is an Associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution department. She has acted for clients on a wide range of commercial disputes. Her experience includes professional negligence claims, contractual disputes, breach of confidence, IP and competition law claims.
Aurelia attended the University of Nottingham and completed her training contract at Spector Constant & Williams before qualifying into the Dispute Resolution department in May 2022.
Recent Experience
- Acting for a claimant seeking damages of circa £170m for alleged breaches of statutory duty including abuse of a dominant position which have caused the demise of the claimant’s business.
- Acting for the claimant seeking damages for fraudulent misrepresentation and the tort of deceit.
- Acting for investors in an Insolvency Court claim against a foreign fund where £50 million is unaccounted for.
- Defending a claim for enforcement of a foreign judgment on the basis that it was obtained in breach of natural justice.
Outside Work
Aurelia is originally from Lithuania, however, was born in Dubai and raised in Vancouver. She is happiest outdoors in the wilderness, on a hike or by a lake.
