Rights of Light - in the context Property Development
We’re delighted that Partner Jaz Tott has been featured in the Law Society gazette with an article about Rights of Light and in particular looking at the differences between Rights to Light report and Daylight and Sunlight report.
“Rights of light hold immense importance in property law, particularly in the context of development projects. This can be an expensive issue, and is becoming a more frequent problem.” notes Jaz.
The article goes to consider case law and what this means for property developers who needs to consider the existence of a right of light.
Jaz concludes that rights of light play a crucial role in property development and that “it is vital to seek expert advice.”
