Spector Constant & Williams featured in the Legal Diary

Three Spector Constant & Williams Partners have been name-checked in longstanding legal journalist Edward Fennell’s Legal Diary.

Gary Scott’s comments on increasing fines on landlords who rent to illegal immigrants, which have also been published widely across the property trade press, were featured.

“This announcement is a further nail in the coffin for amateur landlords… The additional burdens on landlords brought in by the Government have already driven many from the market and this measure is likely to see many more follow suit,” says Gary.

Nick Gova’s appointment as Partner to head up the new Family Team is featured, with Alun Williams quoted welcoming Nick to the firm.

The Diary notes that Nick is particularly well-known for his experience in matters involving religious marriage and divorce, specifically Hindu, Islamic and Jewish divorce. He is also the architect of the ‘Pup Nup’, designed to safeguard the future of pets in a divorce.
